

Sherry Orson is the founder of MCM Songs USA. Ms. Orson began her career in the music industry with Virgin Music Publishing. From there she moved to Universal Music Group and gained extensive experience in the fields of music publishing and licensing. Companies included among her music placements are KFC, McDonald's and Fox Sports.
While she was at Universal, she garnered song placements on musical projects by such artists as Christina Aguilera, Toni Braxton, Selena, Babyface, Jessica Simpson and many others. Miss Orson was also responsible for securing the rights to the publishing of million selling artist Kenny Wayne Shepherd. With a passion for developing emerging songwriter/producers, she also signed Marc Nelson (composer for Babyface, Brandy, Tyrese and Toni Braxton), and was responsible for the placement of his arrangements and compositions.
Ms. Orson currently serves as an advisor to Steven Van Zandt's Renegade Nation in the area of music licensing and continues to act as a company representative on behalf of his roster of emerging rock and roll bands, as well as develop corporate sponsors for his national radio show, Little Steven's Underground Garage. She currently consults for a music production company, Sonic Highway.
